Master and Bachelor Theses in Project H-PERS

Master Theses Work:

Hybrid powertrain concepts for motorcycles a the future in the segment of short to medium range distances. The configurationscan reach from part-hybrid to fully electric applications with range extender. Goal of the project H-PERS is the theoretic design and evaluation of possible future system architectures für hybrid two-wheeler with fokus on reasonableness, potential of realisation as wel as CO2 and emission reduction potential. The work is charakterized by an inter-disziplinary approach and is done at the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines at the Graz University of Technology together with international scientific and university partners. As start a master theses "Hybrid Powertrain for motorcycles" is open with the following content:

 Content:

  • Become aquainted with hybrid powertrain for two-wheeler
  • Simulation of selected concepts on the chassis dyno using HIL
  • Assessment of the emission and fuel consumption results
  • Selection of user specific optimal hybrid concepts
  • Layout / design of one selected hybrid configuration
  • Documentation and writing

Start: as of now

Work place: Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics, Section Design, Graz University of Technology, Inffeldgasse 17, 8010 Graz

Duration: 6 months
