Continental Emitec GmbH

Continental-Emitec is one of the biggest manufacturers of metal catalyst carriers in the world. Emitec’s vision of “cars that clean the environment” is supported by international environmental legislation. The future requires mobility, sustainability and prosperity backed by environmental protection. The importance of environmental protection is growing, even in developing countries. The necessity to limit the emission of harmful chemicals is leading to a growing demand for effective, modern catalytic converters. Metallic converter carriers will be the first choice for many new applications. This particularly applies to the fast developing market for two and three-wheelers in countries striving for progress. For industrial countries, this means the chance and commitment to supply effective environmental technology at affordable prices.

Heraeus Precious Metals GmbH & Co KG

Heraeus has over 150 years of experience in the technical manufacture of precious metal products. Heraeus’ first precious metal catalyst, finely woven platinum gauzes for the oxidation of ammonia, was produced in Hanau back in 1914. Nowadays the product range starts at standard chemical catalysts, covers production ready homogeneous catalysts and goes on to specially developed customer specific supported catalysts and emissions catalysts for diverse applications, such as the purification of exhaust gases from combustion engines and industrial processes.

In the field of environmental catalysts we focus on the emission reduction of small engines like chain saws, spark ignited engines used in motorcycles, quads and cars, commercial vehicles like construction machinery and in special applications like coffee roasters and kitchen ovens via catalyst.
