Master Theses Work:

In order to reduce the negative impact of hand-held power tools on the environemnt, the potential of hybrid power split power trains are investigated for chain saws, brush cutter, ... The research comprises the topics hybridisation, layou and integration of hybrid powertrain, powertrain control and novel sensors. The work is charakterized by an inter-disziplinary approach and is done at the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines at the Graz University of Technology together with international scientific and university partners.
